Description
The City seeks bids to supply and deliver seasonal annual flowers for spring, summer, and fall 2027, plus winter plantings and decorative displays. The package provides detailed plant varieties, sizes, quantities, seasonal delivery windows, and pricing tables for two options, one of which excludes the Flower District. Delivery pricing is to be included for each season, and plant substitutions require prior approval. The summer scope includes installation and maintenance at designated locations as indicated in the plant-list spreadsheet; other seasonal lists primarily specify goods and delivery. Bids must include the completed online bid response, a notarized signature document, a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the bid, and E-Verify documentation including a screenshot of the business’s E-Verify webpage. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder is the stated award basis. Proof of insurability, a surety letter of intent, and completed manufacturer and subcontractor lists are post-bid requirements for the apparent lowest responsive bidder, not initial bid submissions. Performance and payment bonds are required of the successful bidder; a maintenance bond is required as a condition of final payment.
