Description
Lehi City is soliciting proposals for the design, procurement, and supervised installation of a replacement playground system and new engineered wood fiber surfacing at Chappel Valley Park. The system must serve children ages 5–12, fit an approximately 2,700-square-foot play area, include at least one fish-themed element, and meet applicable federal, CPSC, ASTM, IPEMA, and ADA requirements. Proposals must include concepts, dimensional layouts, component images, materials and colors, play activities, estimated equipment life, warranties, safety signage, and compliance documentation. The awarded contractor will provide equipment, delivery, installation, qualified installation supervision, tools, temporary construction fencing, and responsibility for damage or repairs to existing landscaping or irrigation caused by the work. The existing playground, footings, and surfacing will be removed by the City. The maximum allocated amount is $115,000, and the project must be completed no later than April 30, 2027. Responses must include a transmittal letter, project team information, qualifications and references, a project timeline, an itemized cost proposal and billing schedule, a current GAAP-compliant financial report for the past three fiscal years, a Bid Summary Sheet, and the completed Signature of Respondent page.
