Description
Provo City is soliciting bids for a unit-price construction contract covering storm drain infrastructure, incidental utility work, and roadway improvements for the Foothill-Canyon SD Phase 1 project. Work includes reinforced concrete storm drain pipe, storm drain manholes, concrete removal and installation, curb and gutter, sidewalks, detectable warning panels, roadway excavation, grading, base course, asphalt patching, traffic control, mobilization, and a fiber-optic loop. The project includes Schedule A and Schedule B work, with substantial completion required for Schedule A by April 30, 2027, Schedule B by May 31, 2027, and all work by May 31, 2027. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, bid schedule, non-collusion affidavit, bid security, qualifications, project experience, resumes, and references. A bid bond equal to at least 5% of the bid is required, and performance and payment bonds each equal to at least 100% of the contract price are required from the successful bidder. Subcontracting is limited to 75% of the dollar value of the contemplated work without prior written approval.
