Description
This formal request for bids covers construction of a 5,025-square-foot pre-engineered metal building addition to the Ouachita Parish Fire Department Training Facility. The project includes a large meeting room, offices, restrooms, break and copy room, file room, lobby, entrance porch, mechanical spaces, and related site improvements. The scope includes demolition and site work; concrete foundations, slabs, ramps, stairs, sidewalks, drainage, and paving; structural and architectural metal building systems; roofing, wall panels, insulation, doors, windows, canopies, handrails, signage, finishes, millwork, toilet compartments and accessories; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, sprinkler modifications, and associated testing and commissioning. The bid requires a Louisiana-licensed Building Construction contractor, bid security equal to 5 percent of the base bid and alternates, and performance and payment bonds equal to 100 percent of the contract amount.
