Description
The City of Monroe is soliciting construction bids for improvements to the Pine Street Pump Gates. The work is subject to Louisiana public-contract requirements, including an active Municipal and Public Works contractor license, applicable federal and state labor and equal-employment requirements, Section 3 requirements for CDBG projects, and bonding and insurance requirements. Bidders may submit sealed bids or electronic bids through QuestCDN. Prime bidders must obtain the bidding documents from Volkert Engineering, either as paid physical sets or electronic plans and specifications. A corporate resolution authorizing the signatory is required when the bidder is a corporation. The successful bidder must execute the construction agreement and provide performance and payment bonds after award; mobilization and material procurement must begin within ten working days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
