Description
The USDA Forest Service is requesting quotations for snow plowing and removal services at the Superior National Forest Supervisor's Office vehicle storage warehouse. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, fuel, supervision, transportation, materials, and supplies to remove snow from warehouse entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways at 9206 Grand Avenue Place, Duluth, Minnesota. Snow removal is required after overnight accumulations of at least 2 inches, or 4 inches on weekends and federal holidays, with overnight work substantially complete by 6:00 a.m. the next business day. Daytime removal is required for snowfalls of 4 inches or more during business hours. Sanding or salting must occur immediately after each removal, with additional applications performed when directed and priced under a separate line item. Excess seasonal snow buildup may also be removed when directed; off-site hauling is not required, and snow may be relocated elsewhere on the warehouse property. The revised schedule includes per-event pricing for snowfalls of 7 inches or less, hourly pricing for events exceeding 7 inches, hourly excess snow-removal pricing, and additional sanding/salting. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside under NAICS 561790. The contract includes one base period and four one-year option periods, with the base period running upon award through August 31, 2027, and option periods continuing through August 31, 2031.
