Description
Sandoval County is conducting a two-step procurement for expansion and renovation of its Judicial Complex. The work includes a two-story steel-framed addition with courtrooms and associated security functions, renovation of portions of the existing occupied courthouse, structural enhancements, architectural finishes, mechanical, plumbing, fire-protection, electrical, technology, audio-visual, communications, access-control, and surveillance systems, and related site development and access work. The existing 13th Judicial District court operations and public access must remain functional during construction. The project requires phased scheduling, coordination with occupants and separate contractors, protection of occupied areas, and maintenance of public safety and access. Only contractors pre-qualified during Step 1 were invited to submit sealed price bids in Step 2; Addendum 2 identified HB Construction, Inc., Jaynes Corporation General Contractors, and Weil Construction, Inc. as pre-qualified bidders.
