Description
Letcher County Fiscal Court is soliciting a contractor for a specific streambank restoration and fence repair project at Eolia Park along Franks Creek. The work includes installing approximately 552 square yards of geotextile fabric, 1,214 tons of Class II channel lining, and large boulders to create a J-hook vane and a cross vane at two stream sites. Contractors must avoid damaging pavement and placing equipment in the water. The project also includes removing and replacing approximately 96 square feet of aluminum fencing, 24 linear feet of top end rail, three 6-foot line posts, and one 6-foot terminal post. The proposal must include a qualification package, work plan, references, subcontractor list, cost proposal, proof of active SAM registration, drug-free workplace policy, insurance information and policies, and required certifications and declarations. Work is expected to be completed within 60 days after contract award, with before-and-after photographs, quantity documentation, material-source documentation, and disposal records required for final invoicing.
