Description
The City of Charlotte is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the 9832 Grasmere Drive Storm Drainage Improvement Project. The work includes approximately 145 linear feet of RediRock retaining wall along the north side of a stream bank, installation of a pedestrian bridge to maintain access to the rear of the property, and a temporary upstream stream crossing for construction access. The bid tab also identifies grading, excavation, traffic control, erosion control, rock removal, drainage materials, riprap, geotextiles, a timber pedestrian bridge, split-rail fencing, utility work, sanitary sewer bypass pumping, and related site improvements. The estimated project cost is $780,000. A bid security is required, and the project has a 7% Small Business Enterprise participation goal. Bids must be submitted as sealed bids in accordance with the Invitation to Bid; construction bids may not be submitted through the procurement portal.
