Description
The Township of Evesham is soliciting sealed bids for improvements to its municipal building HVAC system. The work includes replacing the existing chiller with a new outdoor air-cooled chiller, operating a temporary 110-ton chiller during the transition, and coordinating chilled-water connections, balancing, crane lifts, and related work. The temporary chiller must provide 425 GPM at 110 feet of total head, deliver 44°F chilled water with a 54°F design return temperature, use 6-inch hoses in a closed-loop system, and operate from available 460V, three-phase, 60 Hz power. Existing building automation controls are Alerton controls. Work must be coordinated to avoid disrupting occupants during normal business hours. Chiller changeovers and pre-demolition measurements must occur during weekends or Township holidays, and the municipal building must be unoccupied during crane lifts except for the Police Department. Bidders must use the engineer-prepared bid form and comply with applicable prevailing-wage, affirmative-action, contractor-registration, business-registration, and disclosure requirements. A bid must include a certified or cashier's check or bid bond of at least 10% of the bid amount, capped at $20,000, plus a surety letter stating that a completion bond will be provided.
