The USDA Forest Service intends to award a competitive BPA call order for technical support evaluating Twin Metals Minnesota’s copper-nickel mine plan of operation and related effects analysis for environmental review and agency decisions. The work supports the Superior National Forest’s review of the proposed mining project. This notice is informational and explicitly states that it is not a solicitation and does not request proposals or other submissions. The eventual call-order RFQ will be issued by email to companies approved to compete under the Land Management Integrated Resources BPA; the notice says 55 businesses are currently eligible to receive it.
