Description
The City of Ballwin is seeking Statements of Qualifications from engineering and consulting firms to develop a comprehensive Stormwater Master Plan. The work includes reviewing existing stormwater infrastructure, maps, reports, policies, and regulations; conducting field investigations; identifying problem areas; recommending regulatory revisions; and developing a prioritized list of stormwater improvement projects for City-owned and non-City-owned facilities. The selected firm will conduct public meetings, develop educational materials, create a project website with online surveys, incorporate community feedback, develop conceptual designs and cost estimates, identify funding and cost-sharing opportunities, and address environmental and stormwater regulatory compliance. Deliverables include a comprehensive physical report supported by GIS-based mapping and visualizations, followed by a presentation to city officials and stakeholders. Responses must include a cover letter, firm background and relevant experience, key staff, similar projects, project approach and methodology with a proposed completion timeline, and references.
