Description
Downe Township is soliciting sealed bids for Contract No. 2026-1, comprising construction of approximately 1,550 linear feet of marine mattress scour apron to provide toe protection for an existing roadside erosion-control berm, along with site work, general construction, and site restoration in the Fortescue section of the township. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work shown in the contract drawings and specifications. The work must be completed within 150 calendar days after receipt of written notice to proceed. Bidders must use the prepared bid form and submit bid security equal to 10% of the total bid, not exceeding $20,000, in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check. A Certificate of Surety is also required with the bid. The bid package must include the Ownership Disclosure Statement, and the Non-Collusion Affidavit is requested on the provided form. Successful bidders must later provide required bonds and proof of insurance before contract execution.
