Description
The City of Shoreline is soliciting statements of qualifications from individuals or firms to provide construction management and construction administration services for the 145th Street Off Corridor Bike Network project. The scope includes PS&E constructability and completeness review; bid document review and bid-award assistance; project oversight; inspection and reporting; materials observation, sampling, and testing; special inspections; contractor-submittal review; surveying control and verification; pay-item measurement and pay-estimate preparation; financial tracking; project records; final records and record drawings; and compliance with federal and state requirements. The consultant may also coordinate or produce public-information materials and respond to public, business, or property-owner questions. The project includes pedestrian and bicycle facilities, ramps, sidewalks, RRFBs, wayfinding signs, pavement overlays, a speed table, and two traffic circles. The estimated construction cost is $750,000 to $1,500,000, with multiple federal and agency funding sources. The SOQ is limited to 17 single-spaced, single-sided pages, with specified section page limits and a minimum Arial 11-point font. The required content consists of an executive summary, statement of experience, project approach and staffing information, resumes, related project experience, and references. The selected consultant will negotiate an hourly-rate agreement and may be invited to an oral presentation.
