Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for a service agreement covering preventive maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs for audiological equipment at the Coatesville VA Medical Center and West Norriton Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The equipment includes audiometers, tympanometers, OAE systems, acoustic noise barriers, and hearing-aid verification systems. The contractor must provide labor, travel, applicable parts, cleaning, preventive-maintenance inspections, and calibration in accordance with manufacturer procedures and ANSI audiometer specifications. The draft Statement of Work calls for one preventive-maintenance/calibration visit for each unit during June of each contract year, plus four option years in addition to the base year. The contractor must provide service reports, calibration certificates, parts and labor documentation, and evidence of qualified personnel, calibrated test equipment, licenses, technical documentation, and parts availability before award. Personnel performing work at the facilities must obtain VA identification badges and complete specified privacy training when applicable.
