Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network consortium, is soliciting proposals for leased lit-fiber Ethernet wide-area-network services, shared backbone connections, high-capacity Internet access, and Category One network equipment. The procurement covers services and equipment at locations identified in the RFP attachments, with quantities and bandwidths ranging from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps. Wireless service is not accepted, and dark fiber is not accepted unless specifically requested. Node pricing must include the equipment, monthly maintenance, and technical support where applicable. WAN and backbone pricing is requested for five years with one optional one-year extension, while Internet access pricing is requested for three years with two sequential one-year extensions, except where the attachments specify otherwise. Proposals must include applicable cost proposal attachments, Attachment F, the Exception/Compliance Summary, and acknowledgment of addenda. Vendors providing E-Rate-supported services must have a USAC-issued SPIN and maintain a current FCC Form 473/SPAC; SAM.gov registration and documentation may also be required when federal funding is used.
