Description
The City of Danville is soliciting sealed bids for comprehensive improvements to the existing Ballou Park tennis court area to create new pickleball courts. Work includes demolition and removal, aggregate-base rehabilitation, asphalt paving, acrylic athletic court surfacing and striping, pickleball nets and posts, chain-link perimeter and divider fencing with gates, two shade pavilions, accessible parking and pedestrian-route improvements, grading, erosion and sediment controls, site restoration, and related incidental work. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, engineering or design services where specified, testing assistance, cleanup, and incidentals. The project has a 120-consecutive-calendar-day completion period beginning after the Notice to Proceed. A 5% bid bond and 100% performance and payment bonds are required. Bids may be submitted either electronically through eVA or by sealed paper submission, but not both.
