Description
The University of Utah, on behalf of the Utah Education and Telehealth Network, seeks vendors to provide leased lit-fiber Ethernet wide-area-network services, shared UETN backbone connections, Internet access, and related Category One network equipment. Services will support schools, higher-education institutions, libraries, healthcare sites, and state network backbone locations identified in the solicitation attachments. Wireless solutions are not accepted, and dark fiber is excluded unless specifically requested. Vendors must provide technical configurations, network topology and fiber information, service-level agreements, routing and resiliency capabilities, and evidence of their ability to provision and maintain the requested services. Proposals must include a written response to all applicable RFP sections, applicable WAN or Internet cost spreadsheets submitted as separate files, Attachment F E-Rate terms and conditions, and the Exception/Compliance Summary. E-Rate-capable vendors must provide a USAC-issued SPIN and maintain current FCC Form 473/SPAC certification. WAN pricing is requested for a five-year term with one optional one-year extension; Internet pricing is requested for a three-year term with two sequential one-year extensions. Multiple awards may be made on a per-location basis.
