The Virginia Department of General Services is soliciting bids for a term contract to supply 4,575 cases of kosher-certified chunk light tuna packed in water. Each case must contain six 66.5-ounce cans, with a minimum pressed label weight of 37.9 ounces and no more than 1.5% salt, meeting the salient characteristics of Commercial Item Description A-A-20155D. Labels must display a kosher symbol. A U.S. Department of Commerce certificate must precede or accompany delivery and state, “Meets requirements of the Commonwealth of Virginia.” The certificate must also note the Virginia Department of Corrections order number. Delivery appointments are required.
