Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, is conducting market research for a planned award of up to three firm-fixed-price blanket purchase agreements to meet the Washington Aqueduct’s controls and instrumentation supply needs. The scope includes industrial process electronic measuring instruments used to monitor and control water treatment and transmission operations, including specified proprietary brands for compatibility with existing equipment. Each BPA is expected to have a five-year ordering period, with a $5 million master dollar limit and a $350,000 call limit. Potential BPA calls may also include preventive maintenance and repair of uninterruptible power supply systems; fiber-optic cable installation, testing, and repair; and installation, configuration, commissioning, and training related to supplied equipment. This is a sources sought notice for market research only, not a request for proposals, quotes, or bids, and no award will be made from this notice. Respondents are asked to provide company and business-size information, capabilities, two or three relevant past contract or order examples, service-area and delivery information, and details about their ordering capabilities.
