Description
This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) seeks pre-proposals and full applications for the implementation of State and Interstate Aquatic Nuisance Species Management Plans (SIANSMP) that have been approved by the Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force (ANSTF). The program aims to support states in preventing the introduction and spread of aquatic nuisance species and reducing their risks to public health, property, and the environment, contributing to a nationally coordinated aquatic invasive species program. The grant process involves a pre-proposal review outside of GrantSolutions, followed by a full application within GrantSolutions for eligible applicants. A 25% cost-share is required, and administrative costs are limited to 5% of total project costs. Eligible applicants are limited to States, Territories, or Indian tribes involved with States/Territories in an interstate organization that have an approved ANS Management Plan.
