Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District is conducting an industry day for the upcoming Norfolk Coastal Storm Risk Management Phase 1A Floodwall Single Award Task Order Construction Contract. The anticipated design-bid-build scope may include construction of a floodwall, tide gate, sliding or swinging gate closures, living shoreline features, and associated utility relocations and installations. The work will extend from the Harbor Park Pump Station to the Campostella off-ramp; Water Street, the Clay Avenue Bridge, and the Harbor Park and Newton's Creek pump stations are excluded. The SATOC is expected to include four to six task orders with shared capacity of approximately $250 million, a five-year base ordering period, and an optional six-month extension. The procurement is planned as a two-phase solicitation under FAR Subpart 36.3. The industry day will include a project overview, acquisition-procedure discussion, and Q&A session. Interested contractors must register in advance; questions must be submitted to the designated contracting personnel by the stated deadline.
