Description
The City of Rome is seeking bids for three commercial laundry equipment items for the Forum River Center: an 85-pound washer-extractor, a gas-heated stack tumble dryer with two 55-pound compartments, and a 120-inch gas-heated flatwork ironer. Approved equal equipment may be offered if it meets or exceeds the specifications. Bidders may bid on one, multiple, or all three items, with each item priced separately and optional package discounts identified. The awarded contractor must provide delivery, unloading, placement, installation, final utility connections, required dryer and ironer exhaust systems, startup, testing, on-site operator training, manuals, and warranty coverage. Bids must include equipment specifications and utility/site requirements, delivery and installation schedules, and any separately priced site work or exclusions. The bid package also requires the listed affidavits and certificates, a completed bid form, and a certificate of insurance.
