Description
James Island Charter High School is soliciting proposals for new commercial/industrial laundry equipment for its football program. The required solution includes one hard-mount, high-speed washer-extractor with a minimum 70-pound nominal capacity; one electrically heated tumble dryer with a minimum 75-pound nominal capacity; and a compatible approximately 8-inch washer base or equivalent mounting solution. Proposed equipment must meet performance-based requirements, including specified controls, extraction performance, chemical-dosing capability, drainage, and electrical configurations. Equivalent or superior equipment will be considered. The proposal must include freight, delivery, unloading, placement, assembly, anchoring or mounting, setup, startup, testing, commissioning, operator training, warranty terms, post-warranty service support, lead time, installation planning, and identification of any excluded site or utility work. Vendors must provide manufacturer and model information, product literature, point-by-point technical responses, pricing, vendor qualifications, licensing and insurance evidence, and at least two references for comparable commercial or institutional laundry installations completed within the past three years. Proposals will be evaluated on technical compliance, delivery and installation planning, warranty and service support, qualifications and references, and total price/value.
