The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from firms to provide Construction Manager (CM) Agency - Construction Phase Services for the renovation of Corey Union at the State University of New York at Cortland. This project involves a comprehensive interior architectural and M/E/P gut renovation of approximately 74,000 GSF of the building, which was originally constructed in 1967. The renovation aims to modernize interior finishes, improve ADA accessibility, and upgrade student support spaces, including hazardous material abatement and site work with geothermal well fields. The anticipated construction duration is approximately thirty-seven (37) months, including a thirty-four (34) month construction period and a three (3) month closeout period. The estimated construction budget for this project is approximately $56,106,000. Firms are encouraged to highlight their experience with public institutions and institutional clients, emphasizing efficient and timely project completion. Submissions must be made electronically via the SUCF website after registration. Paper or emailed SOQs will not be accepted. Specific goals are set for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) at 3.00% and Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) at 5.00% for MBE and 5.00% for WBE.
