Description
The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services is soliciting sealed bids for renovation of Big Bend Community College Building 1800 (ATEC) in Moses Lake. The base work includes renovation of the Masto Conference Room and corridors, selective demolition, replacement of wood chair rails, wood paneling, wood base, and acoustical wall panels, gypsum board and finish work, electrical modifications, and miscellaneous audio-visual improvements. The project also includes an integrated audio-visual system with Extron control, AV-over-IP video distribution, Dante networked audio processing and amplification, assistive listening, media playback, structured cabling, room scheduling panels, wayfinding interfaces, commercial displays, and a direct-view LED video wall. Alternates cover replacement projectors and screens, PTZ cameras, ceiling loudspeakers, and wireless microphones. The estimated bid cost is $900,000 to $1,400,000. The project requires prevailing wages, 15% apprentice labor hours, subcontractor listing Forms A and B, supplemental bidder responsibility documentation, and a bid guarantee of 5% of the base bid when the base bid plus additive alternates exceeds $35,000.
