Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award Eaton Corporation a sole-source, 12-month contract to service and perform preventive maintenance on eight Eaton uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. The work includes two UPS and two battery preventive maintenance checks for each system. The notice states that Eaton is the OEM and the only authorized provider of service support using its proprietary software and repair materials. This is a notice of intent, not a solicitation for proposals. Interested responsible sources may email a capability statement and supporting documentation for the agency to consider whether to compete the requirement.
