The USDA Agricultural Research Service seeks one off-the-shelf commercial food-grade juicer with a shattering helical gear. The unit must be constructed from food-grade SUS-304 stainless steel, use dual counter-rotating tapered screws and a 0.3–0.4 mm filtering screen, process at least 60 kg of carrots per hour with an extraction rate of at least 85%, and handle undiluted fibrous material such as alfalfa herbage. Additional requirements include a 220V, 750W single-phase power supply; safety covers for moving parts; no plastic in the sample pathway; eight-hour operation without cooldown; separate juice and pulp guides; overload shutdown and manual reverse; an integrated wheeled stand; and a total weight under 150 kg. The equipment must be easy to disassemble and clean without special tools and must use standardized support and replacement parts rather than custom construction. The quotation must cover the single commercial juicer and explain the offeror's ability to meet the delivery requirements, identify any specification it cannot meet, and state the country of origin. The government anticipates a firm-fixed-price, single-award purchase using a lowest-price, technically acceptable evaluation, with delivery required within 90 days after receipt of order.
