Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is procuring one multi-crop residue shredder on a brand-name-or-equal basis. The required equipment must have heavy-duty construction for corn stalks, a 12-foot cutting width, a Category II or III three-point hitch compatible with a John Deere Quick Hitch, a 1,000 RPM PTO for a 1 3/8-inch shaft, adjustable rear wheels, high-residue knives, a 2,000 RPM rotor, a minimum 200-horsepower gearbox, and a re-cutter bar. The offeror must provide pricing for the complete item, identify the proposed brand, make, and model, and submit sufficient product literature demonstrating compliance with all salient characteristics. Quotations must also include the vendor's UEI, contact information, mailing and remittance addresses, country of origin, and any applicable prompt-payment discounts. Delivery is required within 30 days after award, FOB destination.
