Description
The Federal Highway Administration is seeking information from qualified contractors for a potential firm-fixed-price construction contract to reconstruct Forest Road 28. The work includes full-depth reclamation of the existing roadway, aggregate surfacing, and drainage improvements. This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice, not a request for proposals or quotes. Respondents must provide company and point-of-contact information, UEI number, bonding capacity per contract, business classification, and details of comparable highway or bridge construction projects completed as the prime contractor within the last three years, including contract numbers, titles, locations, and dollar amounts. The anticipated price range is $5 million to $10 million; advertisement is anticipated in winter 2027, with construction anticipated in spring 2027.
