Description
The City of Los Angeles is soliciting a turnkey replacement and upgrade of the IP-based video security system at the C. Erwin Piper Technical Center. The scope includes furnishing and installing high-resolution cameras; upgrading Cat6 and hybrid copper, fiber, and coaxial network infrastructure; furnishing and configuring recording servers; installing operator workstations; and integrating all devices with the existing Genetec Security Center Video Management System. The system must support continuous 24/7 recording at full resolution and a minimum of 30 frames per second, retain at least one year of video, and connect to the Air Support monitoring center and Security Services Division station. The contractor must also implement AI-based perimeter detection analytics, configure security and health-monitoring functions, provide UPS capacity for critical components, and perform design, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, training, documentation, and warranty support. Deliverables include as-built drawings, device and network schedules, configuration backups, test and certification reports, photo logs, warranty certificates, operator and administrator training, editable quick-reference guides, multi-year manufacturer warranties for cameras and core hardware, and at least one year of on-site workmanship support after acceptance. The updated Exhibit Q scope of work is the complete and current version for the proposal and resulting contract; prior versions should be disregarded.
