Description
Southside Water Works and Sewer Board is seeking bids from properly licensed contractors for labor-only installation of automatic meter reading (AMR) and ultrasonic water meters under the Three Notch project. The work includes removing and replacing 4,339 5/8-inch by 3/4-inch AMR meters, 44 one-inch AMR meters, and 28 ultrasonic meters of various sizes. The project must be substantially completed within 150 calendar days after the contract time begins and finally completed within 180 calendar days. Bidders must hold the Alabama Municipal and Utility (MU) classification and provide required licensing and, if applicable, nonresident contractor registration and good-standing documentation.
