Description
The City of Lake Saint Louis is soliciting sealed bids for improvements at Founders Park. The scope includes site work, utility connections, construction of a CMU-block restroom, construction of a concrete basketball court with amenities, and demolition and expansion of an asphalt parking lot with lighting, concrete medians, and widening of an asphalt road. The selected contractor must coordinate park closures affecting programming or operations, comply with applicable wage-rate requirements and Executive Order 11246, and provide a 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration construction safety program for on-site employees upon contract signing. A bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount is required. Work is anticipated to begin after notice to proceed in October 2026 and must be completed by March 2027.
