This Request for Information (RFI 6169) aims to gather insights to help the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) develop a competitive solicitation for drop-in alternative fuels. The focus will be on fuels derived from waste-derived and biogenic feedstocks, as well as captured carbon dioxide (CO2). NYSERDA is also seeking to understand the current project pipeline within New York State, identify requirements for advancing demonstration projects, and learn about the financing barriers faced by organizations developing first-of-a-kind commercial facilities. Potential respondents may include technology developers, project developers, financing entities, and other supply chain stakeholders. Notification of any changes to this solicitation will be posted on NYSERDA's website.
