Description
Orange County OC Waste & Recycling is soliciting bids for a commercially manufactured organic defoamer for industrial and wastewater treatment applications. The product must rapidly suppress existing foam, minimize foam reformation, and remain compatible with leachate collection tanks, pumps, piping, and downstream treatment and disposal processes. Vendors must provide the product in 55-gallon drums and/or 275-gallon totes, with properly sealed and labeled containers suitable for transportation and storage. The contract is usage-based, with no minimum or guaranteed quantity. The contractor must provide product documentation, including applicable Safety Data Sheets, technical data or specification sheets, batch or lot identification, and expiration or shelf-life information. Responsibilities also include determining the application method, dosing location, and dosage rate; providing technical support during initial field testing and implementation; coordinating deliveries; replacing damaged or unsuitable product; and complying with applicable packaging, transportation, labeling, and safety requirements. The contract term is three calendar years from execution.
