Description
Regenerative Energy Initiative is requesting statements of qualifications and expressions of interest from contractors, training providers, and individual instructors interested in developing and delivering a three- or four-day career-readiness boot camp on renewable and sustainable energy topics. Potential subjects include solar photovoltaics, biomass and bioenergy, energy efficiency, energy storage and batteries, microhydro, energy policy, and passive-house or passive-building concepts. Instruction may include classroom teaching, hands-on training, laboratory work, and field trips where appropriate, with approximately eight hours of teaching per day. The boot camp is planned for summer 2027 at a university in the Lehigh Valley. Respondents should describe their subject-matter expertise, education and experience, teaching background, structured-environment instruction, ability to adapt to hands-on teaching, off-site training experience, and—if applicable—provide a sample agenda or existing instructional materials. A detailed curriculum and cost proposal are not required, and no contract will be awarded through this preliminary information-gathering request.
