Description
The City of Winston-Salem is soliciting bids for new automotive batteries across the specified battery types, with bidders required to provide a price per battery for every listed type and a total estimated annual cost. Products must be new, unused, and compliant with the stated specifications; descriptive literature and complete product specifications must be included with the bid. Alternate products may be proposed only with complete factory specifications and clear identification as an alternate. The successful vendor will take orders, deliver new batteries, and pick up battery cores on a biweekly schedule, in addition to handling as-needed orders. The bid must also describe the vendor's ability to provide repair parts and technical service, including maximum response time for parts or a service representative.
