Description
The Military Sealift Command is conducting market research to evaluate an option on an existing charter contract; responses are for information only and will not be treated as offers. It seeks cost and availability information for one clean, U.S.-flagged, Jones Act-compliant, double-hull tanker to transport clean petroleum in support of the Defense Logistics Agency. The vessel must meet detailed capacity, age, draft, cargo segregation, dimensions, speed, and other operational requirements, including the ability to conduct cargo operations at sea and incorporate two CONSOL stations. Interested parties are asked to provide company and vessel information, availability, personnel capacity, fuel consumption and additional charges, a daily rate for an 11-month base period, any alternative proposals, and security-clearance status. The requested delivery date is January 9, 2027; the stated delivery area is the Gulf of Mexico, with worldwide location and trade limits.
