Description
The Ministry of Transportation and Transit is seeking one or more contractors to provide marine transportation planning services on an as-and-when-required basis. The scope supports the Marine, Air, and Rail Services Branch and includes marine transportation planning; data collection and analysis; option generation and assessment; capacity, mobility, and safety analysis; business case development; concept design engineering and cost estimation; planning-level consultation; and related strategic and technical planning advice. The anticipated work will primarily concern vessels, marine infrastructure, and ferry operations associated with inland ferry services, with potential work involving other coastal vessels, marine infrastructure, and ferry operations. The initial contract term is three years, with an option to extend for an additional two years, for an estimated total contract period of 60 months.
