Description
The Ministry seeks one or more contractors to provide marine transportation planning and technical consulting services on an as-needed basis. Work may include planning studies, data collection and analysis, option assessment, capacity, mobility and safety analysis, business case development, cost-benefit analysis and estimating, conceptual and preliminary design support, risk analysis, stakeholder and Indigenous engagement, and strategic and operational advice. The work will primarily support inland ferry operations, vessels, terminals, and related marine infrastructure, with possible assignments involving other coastal vessels and facilities. The contract has an initial three-year term, with a discretionary extension of up to two additional years, and no guaranteed minimum work. The estimated value will not exceed $600,000 for the initial term. Proposals must demonstrate capability across the full scope of services. The response must use the provided Proposal Response Form or a substantially similar form, including corporate experience, key-resource qualifications and experience, understanding of issues, and pricing. The Ministry states that tasks must be performed personally by the named key or supporting resources unless it expressly permits otherwise in writing.
