Description
The Military Sealift Command is conducting market research for a 179-day time charter of one clean, ice-strengthened, double-hull tanker with an inert gas system and segregated ballast tanks. The vessel must carry clean petroleum products, including JP-5, JP-8, JA-1, and F-76, and meet detailed capacity, draft, age, speed, ice-class, safety, and cargo-handling requirements. The intended delivery port is St. Theodore, Greece, and the intended redelivery port is Piraeus, Greece; laydays are scheduled to commence between February 10 and February 20, 2027. Interested parties are asked to provide company and vessel information, Q88 and classification documentation, cargo stowage plans, daily charter rate, any positioning fee, fuel consumption rates, and supporting documentation demonstrating compliance with the vessel requirements. This is a sources-sought market survey, not a request for offers.
