Description
The Municipality of Anchorage Parks & Recreation Department seeks qualified consultants to provide project management, landscape architecture, civil engineering, surveying, and construction management services for municipal park development, construction, and maintenance projects. Work may include planning and design coordination, construction administration and inspection, site and landscape design, engineering for grading, drainage, utilities, parking, trails, and access routes, public involvement, feasibility studies, and surveying. Services will be requested as needed across parks, trails, recreation facilities, and other public spaces. The solicitation anticipates one contract with a three-year base period and two one-year renewal options. The base-period amount is not to exceed $3 million, with up to $1 million for each option year and a maximum total of $5 million if both options are exercised. Proposals must include firm qualifications and experience, references and project examples, key staff and subconsultant qualifications, available resources, project understanding, and methodology. A fee schedule is not required with the proposal; the highest-rated proposer will provide one during negotiations. A veteran preference may be claimed with the required proof of veteran status.
