Description
Santa Rosa County is soliciting construction bids for improvements to the east bank of Pond Creek at Mayo Park. The base bid includes mobilization, traffic and erosion control, clearing and grubbing, temporary sheeting and flood barriers, excavation, embankment and unsuitable-material removal and replacement, dewatering, installation of logs, limbs, brush, stone backfill, coir erosion-control materials, native plantings, sod, flowable fill, and an as-built survey. Bid Alternate A covers repairs along the west bank, including demolition and installation of a steel sheet-pile wall system, excavation, embankment, sod, filter fabric, coarse aggregate backfill, a concrete pile cap, and an as-built survey. The work must comply with Santa Rosa County and FDOT standards and includes permitting, traffic control, utility protection, stormwater and erosion controls, and site stabilization. The project is scheduled for 120 calendar days from the written notice to proceed, consisting of 90 days for substantial completion and 30 days for final completion; Bid Alternate A adds 90 days. Electronic submissions must be searchable PDFs and include the required bid security, insurance documentation, business authorization, SAM certification, entity-crime statement, references, conflict-of-interest form, and proposed-subcontractor information when applicable.
