Description
The City of Janesville is seeking a contractor to provide custodial services at multiple municipal facilities, including City Hall, City Services Center, Police Services Center, Police Pistol Range, Water Utility, Janesville Innovation Center, Janesville Health and Wellness Center, and Senior Center. Services include routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, kitchens, floors, carpets, windows, furnishings, and other facility surfaces, with schedules ranging from monthly to five visits per week. The scope also includes floor-cleaning work such as scrubbing, buffing, recoating, stripping, waxing, and carpet shampooing, as well as temporary construction cleaning at the City Services Center during the 2027–2028 renovation period. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, supplies, supervision, and expertise; perform services during specified operating or off-hours; comply with OSHA and other applicable requirements; and provide background-qualified personnel for access to police facilities. Proposals must include a cover letter, statement of qualifications, at least three recent references, completed Form 1, completed Form 2 pricing schedules, completed Form 3 reference list, and proof of required insurance. The City is requesting pricing for one-, two-, and three-year contract periods, with the selected agreement beginning January 1, 2027; the solicitation also includes a fourth-year period ending April 30, 2030 in the contract-term schedule.
