Description
The City of Janesville is seeking a contractor to provide multi-year custodial and floor-cleaning services at various municipal facilities. The scope includes routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, kitchens, floors, carpets, windows, furnishings, and other facility surfaces; scheduled floor maintenance; and temporary construction cleaning at the City Services Center during approximately May 2027 through June 2028. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, transportation, supplies, supervision, and expertise, perform services during specified facility hours, comply with OSHA requirements, and ensure personnel accessing police facilities meet Janesville Police Department background requirements. The Senior Center scope was amended by Addendum No. 1. The revised scope at 69 S. Water Street requires five visits per week and includes cleaning entryways, hallways, stairwells, programming rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms; vacuuming and mopping; dusting; sanitizing fixtures; restocking owner-provided paper products and soap; waste removal; and weekly and monthly cleaning tasks such as cleaning handrails, vacuuming beneath furniture, cleaning elevator tracks, door hardware, light switches, windowsills, and high-dusting areas. Proposals are requested for one-, two-, and three-year contract periods, with the selected term beginning January 1, 2027 and ending April 30 of the final year. The solicitation requires a cover letter, statement of qualifications, references, Form 1, Form 2, and proof of insurance. Form 2 requires pricing by facility for custodial and floor-cleaning services for Years 1, 2, and 3.
