Description
Herrick District Library seeks firm-fixed-price proposals for dedicated fiber internet service, with pricing requested for 1 Gbps, 2 Gbps, and 2.5 Gbps connections. The service must support at least 500 users across two facilities, terminate at the main facility, and include specified service-level metrics, 24/7 support, monitoring, public IPv4 addressing, and end-to-end maintenance. Quotes must itemize eligible and non-eligible items and separate hardware, recurring charges, installation, construction, and optional services. The library also seeks a replacement for its WatchGuard M470 firewall, with WatchGuard or equivalent equipment, a five-year maintenance/support or subscription option, and professional services for assessment, migration planning, installation, cutover, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Hardware, maintenance, and professional services may be awarded separately. Proposals should include line-item pricing, relevant technical specifications and qualifications, and a project implementation summary. Proof of workers’ compensation is requested; proof of a $2 million liability umbrella is required upon award. Purchase and installation must occur between July 1, 2027, and June 30, 2028.
