Description
The City seeks a contractor to reconstruct approximately 1,450 feet of 84th Avenue and a shared-use path, with HMA paving and storm sewer improvements. Work includes roadway grading, aggregate base, storm sewer and sewer in stone trench, manholes and catch basins, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks and drive approaches, pavement markings and signage, guardrail, fencing, erosion control, and site restoration. Bids are unit-price proposals based on the provided Bid Form. Bidders must be prequalified by the City within the past 12 months; bidders not already prequalified must submit a financial statement and experience questionnaire for consideration at least ten working days before bid opening, and must be on the plan holders list. A 5% bid bond is required with the proposal. The engineer’s estimate is $1,111,000.
