Description
Orangeburg County seeks a contractor to provide billing and collection services for its Emergency Medical Service Department. The evaluation considers proposed collection percentage fees, debt setoff fees, software, hardware, support costs, EMS billing and collections experience, collection performance, certified coding staff, and references. The requested work also includes an implementation and transition plan, staff training, customer service, equipment availability, timely service, financial and management reporting, accounts receivable and debt setoff administration, audit controls, and ongoing support. Proposers must submit bidder qualifications, including viability documentation, a description of litigation within the past 10 years, and proof of workers’ compensation insurance naming the County as certificate holder.
