The Bureau of Land Management awarded a firm-fixed-price commercial-item contract for steel supplies supporting abandoned mine lands closures. The requirement includes 201 pieces of ASTM A500 square tubing or A36 steel tube measuring 2 inches by 2 inches by 3/16 inch by 20 feet; 201 cold-rolled 1018 round bars measuring 5/8 inch by 20 feet, to be cut to 19 feet 11.75 inches; and 410 A36 or 11-gauge CS-B flat steel pieces measuring 1/8 inch by 1.75 inches by 1.75 inches. The specified tolerance for the flat pieces is plus or minus 1/16 inch on all dimensions. The contract was awarded on September 14, 2026, under contract number 140L4326P0134 to FARWEST STEEL WYOMING INC for a total contract value of $30,357.95.
