Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a quotation for 20 feet of Class 1 plain round metallic tubing, 0.750-inch diameter, 0.035-inch wall thickness, seamless, plain-ended, outside polished, passivated inside and outside, cold-drawn 1/8-hard condition, with random lengths from 60 to 240 inches. The tubing must meet SAE AMS-T-6845, Type 1, for corrosion-resistant S30400 steel aerospace vehicle hydraulic systems, and is identified as a commercial item. The requirement includes origin inspection and acceptance, ASTM D3951 packaging, MIL-STD-129 marking and labeling, and applicable DLA technical and quality requirements. The supplier must provide a Certificate of Quality Compliance for delivered supplies; if the supplier is not the manufacturer, it must obtain a certified manufacturer test report supporting the certificate. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
