Description
The City of Bellevue is soliciting sealed bids for interior renovation of the Crossroads Community Center teaching kitchen and teen room. Base work includes selective demolition, new foodservice equipment, a Type I exhaust hood and roof penetration, hood exhaust fan and makeup-air controls, new cabinets and countertops, structural modifications, and limited electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work. The contractor must obtain separate electrical and plumbing trade permits and provide associated connections, controls, and fire-suppression interfaces. The teen room work includes partition demolition, door and window reconfiguration, glazing, new finishes, lighting and electrical modifications, and related repairs. Additive alternates cover the teen room scope and audiovisual improvements, including sound-system repairs, volume controls, background music connections, and Category 6 cabling for cameras. Addendum 1 revises the kitchen island details, adds NSF-compliance notes for the integrated sink and drain pan and product information for a contactless faucet, and requires acknowledgment on the Bid Proposal Form. The engineer's estimate is $400,000-$500,000, and the contractor must complete the work within 80 working days, with substantial completion within 65 working days.
